On April 19, F/SOS – Photography, Solidarity and Social Works is organising “Cuidar as Margens”, an environmental clean-up and awareness action at Óbidos Lagoon, as part of the F/262 – International Photography Festival programme.

This initiative is part of the festival’s sustainability programme, aiming to involve the community in the preservation of one of the region’s most important natural ecosystems.

More than an environmental activity, the initiative will also be a moment of observation and documentation of the landscape, reinforcing the relationship among photography, the environment and the community. Participants are invited to look at the territory with attention, care for the space, and reflect on how landscapes are observed and represented.

The activity is open to residents, visitors, nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.
